Taylor Dawson, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Taylor Dawson is a board-certified Physician Assistant who specializes in sports medicine and joint replacement. Taylor had the rare opportunity to complete his clinical rotations at Star Orthopedics under Dr. Dold prior to graduating in 2020. Shortly after graduation, he was given the opportunity to join Dr. Dold’s team at Star Orthopedics full-time as a Physician Assistant. He assists Dr. Dold with day-to-day activity in clinic seeing patients as well as in the operating room in both sports medicine and total joint procedures.

Taylor is originally from West Monroe, Louisiana, where he graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. He then went on to pursue a Master’s degree from Mississippi College prior to attending and graduating from Mississippi College’s Physician Assistant program. Upon graduation, he and his wife moved to the Dallas Fort Worth area to both pursue careers in the medical field. In his free time, Taylor enjoys playing golf, exercising, and spending time with his family and friends.

Reggie Brown (Gianaris), PA-C

Physician Assistant

Reggie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Medicine, Health and Society at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Butler University in Indianapolis, IN (her hometown). She is board certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. Reggie has more than 4 years of clinical healthcare experience, working in both clinic and hospital settings. She has a broad range of skills, having previously served as a physician assistant in an orthopedic spine practice as well as in an urgent care environment.

Reggie is pleased to be a part of Dr. Dold’s team at Star Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. She assists Dr. Dold in clinic seeing patients at both the Frisco and Coppell offices as well as in the operating room with sports medicine and joint replacement procedures. Reggie is devoted to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Reggie strives to serve the needs of her community. She is a volunteer with Special Olympics assisting young athletes in a variety of sports. In her spare time, Reggie enjoys traveling abroad, participating in triathlons, cooking, and scuba diving.

Office Manager

Ashley Diaz (Obando)

Surgery Coordinator and Scheduler
